At forget-me-not beauty I only use natural products from Neals Yard remedies in a tranquil and peaceful setting. With over 25 years in the industry I strive to give the best possible treatments and advice for your skincare and beauty needs.
Treatments
Facial Treatment; 30, 45, 60 or 75 minutes
Using Neal’s Yard products the facial treatment is bespoke to your skins requirements. Using relaxation techniques, double cleanse, exfoliation, steam, deep tissue face, neck and shoulder massage, mask and application of moisturiser to finish.
Frankincense Age Defying Facial to help with maturing skin, fine lines and signs of aging.
Rehydrating Rose Facial helps with restoring balance and radiance.
Soothing Facial helps skin that is susceptible to stress, environmental factors or harsh skincare products.
Brightening Facial to help renew and refine your complexion leaving your skin glowing.
Waxing
Waxing is a complete hair removal system. Typically waxed areas will last 4-6 weeks before needing to be rewaxed. Using T-Tree products which help to soothe the skin preventing irritation and helping to prevent ingrown hairs.
Massage; 30 or 60 minutes
Using Neal’s Yard aromatherapy oils to take into account the mind, body and spirit. Massage can help eliminate tense muscles, increase flexibility and provide relaxation to the body and mind. The massage will be tailored for your requirements and can help with a variety of ailments including headaches, improving sleep, reduction of stress hormones, improved circulation and skin tone.
Hands & Feet
Gelish Manicure or Pedicure
A Gelish manicure or pedicure uses a soft gel in the form of polish. A manicure lasts for 2-3 weeks and pedicure lasts 6-8 weeks resulting in a high shine finish with no chipping, peeling or cracking and zero drying time.
Manicure or Pedicure
Using OPI and Neal’s Yard products a manicure consists of filing and shaping the nails, tidying of cuticles, a lovely hand massage and the application of a OPI polish of your choice.
Pedicures, also using OPI and Neal’s Yard products, consists of removal of dead/hard skin, soaking of the feet, tidying of the cuticles, cutting and shaping the nails, a foot massage and the application of an OPI colour polish of your choice.
Eyes
Eyelash Tint
Using semi-permanent dye (patch test required 48 hours prior to tinting) tinting the lashes makes lashes appear darker, longer and fuller. Eyebrow tinting helps to enhance, shape and define the brows.
Lash Lift
(patch test required 48 hours prior to treatment) alters the shape of the lashes lifting the individual lashes giving you a more wide-eyed look.
Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face and body. The ‘Blend’ method uses galvanic and thermolysis techniques. This gives a thorough and more effective treatment for the removal of unwanted hairs.
Hopi Candles
This pleasant and non-intrusive treatment helps to remove earwax and other impurities from out of the ear canal. This relaxing and soothing treatment can help with headaches, tinnitus, vertigo, sinusitis and more. It includes a pressure point massage to end the treatment.
Neals Yard Remedies
I chose to partner with Neal's Yard products and incorporated them into my treatments in 2017. Being an Aromatherapist I wanted to use aromatherapy products in my treatments and have the power of essential oils and all the benefits that go with them.
I like the fact Neal’s Yard products are natural with no chemicals and are ethically sourced, organic and cruelty free.
There is a wide range of products for all skin types, a wonderful range of body products as well as oils, candles and supplements to try.
I also think the packaging and blue bottles are beautiful!
